Protein World, one of the UK's largest suppliers of premium health and fitness supplements appointed Wunderman Thompson Commerce in 2017, to support and grow its digital business within the health and fitness space.

As part of a programme to optimise Protein World's website and mobile platforms, we were tasked with creating a smoother customer journey for visitors, ensuring their existing Magento ecommerce platform is performant and stable, as well as determining key areas to optimise to support digital growth. As the Protein World looks to expand its presence worldwide, we are looking to further improve its website, upgrading and enhancing it to help increase sales and drive innovation .

Current priorities include an increased focus on on-site personalisation features, subscription plans, complex promotions, an improved checkout process as well as a new, redesigned desktop and mobile site.

Although Protein World products are available in a range of shops internationally, a large margin of our sales come from our website. Therefore, we want to ensure that our digital offering is as good as it can be. It is so important to have a strong digital foundation for both our customers’ shopping experience, and to allow the business to grow. We’re excited to be working with Wunderman Thompson Commerce to optimise our website to make it the best it can be.
