Protein World pumps up digital offering
London, UK - 13th November 2017: Protein World, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of premium health and fitness supplements, has appointed global ecommerce consultancy Wunderman Thompson Commerce to support and grow its digital business within the health and fitness space.
Wunderman Thompson Commerce has been brought on board to optimise Protein World’s website and mobile platforms, creating a smoother customer journey for visitors. The appointment comes after the fitness brand has bolstered its global portfolio, selling a range of health products including protein shakes, porridge, pancakes, supplements and more in a range of international markets.
Wunderman Thompson Commerce has been tasked to ensure Protein World’s existing Magento ecommerce platform is performant and stable, as well as determining areas which need to be optimised to support digital growth. Following completion of this, Wunderman Thompson Commerce will further improve the website by upgrading and enhancing the site. The aim of this partnership is to result in a greater amount of sales and drive innovation, as the company looks to further expand its presence online and worldwide.
Current priorities include an increased focus on on-site personalisation features, subscription plans, complex promotions, an improved checkout process as well as a new, redesigned desktop and mobile site in the first half of 2018.
