Charlotte Garner

CX Studio Manager

How did you start working with us?

I studied BSc Psychology & Counselling at Staffordshire University. I initially joined the Talent team, in an administrative position. The role helped me to learn and understand the business but after a year I was ready to take on more. I worked hard, taking every opportunity offered and this helped me to get my next role as Account Operations Executive. I continued to take on new challenges in this role which pushed me outside of my comfort zone. After a year in this role, an opportunity came up to join the CX team as a CX Service Manager. This was brilliant, I got to run a range of research and design projects, work with several big clients and again, learn so much! After almost 2 years in this role, I have recently been promoted to CX Studio Manager and am now responsible for the day-to-day resourcing of the CX team, but I still get the opportunity to work on projects, which is a win-win for me!

How has your Degree helped you in your roles?

My degree helped me work to deadlines, key in a fast-moving environment where the demands of the clients are high. My knowledge of statistics, research studies and finance have helped with some of the work I have done for them and lastly the ability to be organised with my work is critical to handling a large workload with different clients at the same time.

Why do you love working here?

The people, the projects, and the passion of everyone I work with make VML a great place to work.
